Welcome to the Art Career Experts Blog site!

We have worked with so many artists and craftsmen over the years that it is nice to finally set it all up on the Internet!  Sometimes we are approached in moments where we cannot spend as much time as we need or the questions are far too vast to answer in one sitting.  So this is such a great venue to reach all those people whom we have not been able to spend time with!

Now YOU can come join us. Drop into the daily lives of two artists who are creating their art as a means of livelihood!live a great life! See how we spend the day or week. What we do. How we do it. What bills are coming up that need to be paid or shows that we will drop in to! Or art that needs to be finished.  And through it all, we create, market, sell and …well, life is good!

Now for an update. We have just returned from a show in California. 6000 mile round trip to Palm Springs, CA from NC.  We tied the show in with a visit to relatives and made the “Great Adventure.” Anyone who has crossed the US in  350 Ford van knows that this was not luxury! Add to that the fact that even though we pulled out the summer clothes for the Desert regions, we were not aware that March and April weather varies state by state. Torrential rains through NC. Tornadoes in Tennessee. Blizzards in Texas that closed Interstate 40. Snow in New Mexico. Wind everywhere else!

But we soaked up the scenery, the colors and above all, the rock formations!

Below are 2 images. One is an image of the two booths that we rented for the Indian Wells Art Festival April 3-5, 2009. Notice the clear tops. Also notice that we like to be working on something at the shows. The other is one of the scenery that we enjoyed as we drove!
