But sometimes I have to point out the opportunities that resulted as a result of the encounter.  Think back to when a casual encounter led to unexpected commissions or sales opportunities with your art. If you take the time to go back and really think about how something began you will see the value of &#8220;simply showing up.&#8221; Even those events you feel (actually you are convinced!)  might be a waste of  your time or effort.
