NEWS FROM OUR STUDIO
Theresa Brown & Stephen Filarsky
December 2012
With all the activities and families coming together this month, we
decided to keep our newsletter short and brief :-)
So Thank you so much for being the great people, clients, collectors
and friends that you are! We couldn't do it without you!
We wish you and your families all the blessings of the season. Stay
safe in your holiday travels and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year!
Most of our work will be given as presents (and you might be on the
receiving end.) So as not to be a spoiler, you will have to look for
our newest portraits and paintings after the holidays when it is safe
to post images!

Painting to us is more than our profession, it's a way of life! And we
love for you to share it with us through our newsletters, photos and in
person. If you'd like to be able to follow us regularly, both our blogs
and Facebook are a great way to do that!
Steve:
Since we have been busy in the studio, not to mention fighting off the
non-flu crud that is going around, we haven't been able show our work
as
much as I'd like. So we are featuring paintings today.
A great
present for the horse lover you know, or just an art lover or maybe
yourself.
I tried to capture the "Old World" feel with a
bit more modern color and brush work.

One of Theresa's new paintings. No, it's not a portrait, but it's
a return to a style of painting she did as a young horsewoman, now
combined
with the eye and hand developed through years of painting portraits. An
18 x 24 acrylic on canvas, it's a great gift (at a great price) and it
is still available. Click on the image to view ( and possibly
buy) on
her website.

Just found out that the 8 x 10 oil has been bought as a gift for
someone, (They found it on my facebook page first. A good reason for
you to follow us)
But I don't want you to feel left out, so here is another painting that
is available and would make a great gift.

One last note, Gift Certificates for Portraits. These are
not only convenient, but for any husband who wants to commission a
portrait of his wife, we strongly recommend having her involved with
the process, rather than suprising her with a portrait of herself.
