WORKSHOPS
Painting & Art - Adult Workshops
We offer something for everyone! We are still developing our adult 1 and 2 day workshops.
Whether you would love for your child to enjoy the “total art experience” OR for you and your friends to enjoy a
day outside painting the beauties of nature OR one of us to sit down with you or your child for a private lesson
and work out the art problem you are struggling with, we are available!
ADULTS! We will be offering a few evening and afternoon casual ART workshops for those who would like the
comeraderie and company of like minded artists! These will be at our Wake Forest location and we will enjoy art,
coffee or a glass of wine, all while using our creative energies to just create!

4 x 6 Oil Paintings
|
If you want to have fun while learning techniques and developing
skills while just plain having fun this is the workshop for you. No large empty
canvas to daunt you. No more trying to find the time to complete a work. Working on smaller
paintings can recharge your creative batteries and help you move a larger painting along quicker
and surer.
Steve will work with you as you discover that these smaller
paintings will fast forward you on your painting journey. Landscapes, still lifes, figure and
animal paintings...learn them the easy way by working smaller. Steve will demonstrate
some, but will spend most of the time working with you.
If you just want to paint for the sheer joy and fun of it, come on. As I
mentioned above, no large canvases to overwhelm you. Bring lots of canvas panels 5 x 7, 4 x 6 even
8 x 10 if you want to work big. You will take home a number of completed paintings
If you want to learn more about painting and work of developing a personal style, come
on. You will learn more by starting and completing many smaller paintings than laboring on
one large one.

The workshop is over and was a great
success. (read below) But you can attend a virtual workshop with Theresa via her DVD Painting the
Family Dog
Theresa,
Thank you so much for the delightful lesson on painting dogs. I just loved it and I would
come to another one even if it is the same. That was so much fun. Today I started
painting our other Yorkie. He has a short hair cut so that may be different but I'm ready
to play. I had my husband help me get an outside photo of him this morning without the
flash and I watched your DVD to remind me of all your great tips. I love your DVD.
Great information and you did not move too fast. It was perfect. I only hope
I can learn to paint with more confidence and success. I really need a class in mixing
paint colors. I think that would be very helpful. Thank you again. What fun!
