Pastel Portraits!

Join Theresa as she takes you through the steps of creating beautiful, finished life like portraits in pastel from a series of photos! Over this two day class she will cover the steps of creating portraits that have delighted her clients and provided her livelihood for twenty years. From photographing the subject to laying out the portrait, to working with photos and various pastels and pastel surfaces, she'll walk you through the steps.

Supplies:

Pastels-dry pastels such as Rembrandt, Mungyo and Nu-pastels will be best. For portraiture you will need at least the sets of 96.

Pastel pencils-Carbothello-set of at least 24,

Pastel surfaces: we will work with Canson-bring half sheets of medium gray or blue/gray. Theresa will supply the necessary reference material for the artwork.
