Small Paintings for Big Results

Location: Jerry's Artarama, 3060 Wake Forest Rd. Raleigh NC.

It's back, Steve's very popular workshop on creating small paintings in oil for big results. Participants will create delightflly rich and vibvrant scenes on 4 x 6 canvasses (or boards) that offer big results to the viewer! Although reference photos are supplied, students may bring their own photos {assorted landscapes, barns, cityscapes, gardens, etc.) You will leave with at least 2 completed paintings..

Oil paint

Titanium White
Cereluean Blue
Ultramarine Blue
Cadmium Yellow
Cadmium Yellow Light
Cadmium Red Light
Alizarin Crimson
Yellow Ocher
Sap Green
Burnt Sienna

Canvases or boards, 4 x 6, 5 x 7 (4 or more) Palette, Brushes, Odor Free Thinner (I use Gamsol) Gamblin Neo Megilp, palette knife
