Signs!
Yes,
for those of you who are unaware, Steve is a
talented custom sign creator specializing in
elegant and exclusive hand carved, gold leaf signs!
He trained under some of the best master gilders in Philadelphia and
has created his designs for almost 30 years! His gold leaf
expertise is well known and sought after by fire
and emergency personnel all over the country for application to their
vehicles as he is one of the few craftsmen who can still hand letter
and apply the delicate 23K gold leaf! Recently several
collectors of his plein air oils asked him about creating
signs for their barns and stalls displays. He can create both
an original oil painting that can be used with the sign and
add whatever touches the client wants in lettering. Because
of the interest, he has created a new page that highlights some of his
sign craftsmanship and where you can see examples. Talk to
him about your signage needs. Whether it is for your barn , stalls,
driveway entrance , business, home, horse
trailer…. see what Steve can design for you! |

Dog Alert for pet owners!
Did
you notice that there are a lot of dog paintings in this newsletter?
Actually, there are a least a half dozen or more that I am
not showing as they are going to be Christmas presents and I
would hate to be the one to let the cat out of the bag.. so
check back in January for even more dog portraits... |

Don't forget Vicky Moon's new book, Equestrian Style. We're in it! |
Barn of the Month SAFESTYLE At the Duke Children's Hospital Benefit Horse Show in Raleigh NC we met Isabelle Reidinger who is the US dealer for Safestyle, a half open stirrup which she is importing from the Netherlands. She and her husband, dressage trainer and clinician, Dieter Riedinger recently moved to NC from the West Coast. From my point of view, the Safestyle is a piece of fine modern sculpture, but they must also work, as Kent Farrington won the Duke Grand Prix using them and Isabelle has a hard time keeping them in stock. We met again last week at the Raleigh Invitational Saddlebred show, and they were selling well to the Saddlebred people. You can see more at www.safestyleus.com The website is the Netherlands parent company, so contact Isabelle at isabelle@safestyleusa.com |
